With the commissioning of the new section, the M5 line now extends to Sultanbeyli, providing the district with seamless access to Istanbul’s metro network. When evaluated together with the previous phases delivered by Doğuş İnşaat, the total length of the line has reached approximately 28 kilometers, and 33 kilometers including connection lines. Consisting of 24 stations, this extensive route offers millions of Istanbul residents a safe, fast, and comfortable transportation alternative, while fundamentally transforming the transportation infrastructure of the Anatolian Side.

Representing a first in Türkiye with its driverless metro technology, the M5 line is operated using a fully automated train control system. With its high service frequency and uninterrupted operational capacity, the line provides passengers with a safe, reliable, and comfortable travel experience. Through the construction and electromechanical works undertaken in various phases of the project, Doğuş İnşaat has directly contributed to the integrity and successful delivery of the line as it stands today.
