A section of the project was successfully opened to traffic on April 19, 2026, in line with the planned schedule. At the same time, we reached 4 million man-hours without a lost-time injury.

The project includes the rehabilitation of the existing Saadiyat Interchange and the construction of a new highway connection on Saadiyat Island, as well as road furnishings, Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS), and lighting works. In addition, the project scope includes the construction of four highway bridges, MSE walls, utility infrastructure lines, a pedestrian bridge, and an irrigation pumping station.
