With its single pylon rising 168.5 metres and a main span of 380 metres, Kömürhan Bridge ranks as the fourth-largest bridge of its kind in the world. The bridge earned this prestigious recognition thanks to its innovative stressed cable-stayed design and inverted Y-shaped tower configuration. Strategically located on the Elazığ–Malatya State Highway, Kömürhan Bridge serves as a critical transportation link connecting 16 provinces.

Constructed entirely with domestic resources and expertise, the bridge once again demonstrates Türkiye’s engineering capabilities and achievements in the field of infrastructure development.
