This prestigious award, presented annually to organizations that make a significant difference through their efforts in crisis regions, was conferred at a gala dinner held in Washington, D.C. on 20 June 2024. ISOA officials emphasized that Doğuş Construction has made meaningful contributions not only during times of crisis but also to Ukraine’s long-term recovery and development process.

Having operated actively in Ukraine for 20 years, Doğuş Construction has successfully delivered numerous large-scale projects financed by the EBRD, JICA, and Deutsche Bank. Following the outbreak of war in February 2022, the company evacuated all its personnel and their families from the country and hosted them in its hotels and residences in Istanbul, providing living support to approximately 100 people.

In addition, last year, around 50 Ukrainian engineers were invited to Istanbul as part of strategic project initiatives and participated in a comprehensive training program at the Çekmeköy–Sancaktepe–Sultanbeyli Metro Line construction site. Alongside these humanitarian efforts, Doğuş Construction continues to carry out three separate bridge projects in Kyiv today.
