Doğuş Construction has received certification for compliance with the new ISO 45001: 2018 Occupational Health and Safety Management standard, which is aiming safer and healthier working environments for all stakeholders.

Doğuş Construction completed its requirements for Occupational Health and Safety Management System standards. The new standard ISO 45001: 2018 replaced the previous standard OHSAS 18001 on 22.10.2020 as a result of the audit performed by the independent auditing company Bureau Veritas in September.

With the ISO 45001 standard, it is aimed to increase the standards of occupational health and safety by developing mandatory policies, goals and processes in workplaces. According to this standard, employees are expected to take a more active role in Occupational Health and Safety works and help identify various hazards. In the new standard, it is also expected that the management level will participate in leading the processes including occupational health and safety requirements of suppliers and sub-employers. Basically, OHSAS 18001 has been structured with a focus on danger, while identifying and managing risks in ISO 45001 has been brought to the fore. In this context, while important changes have been made in definitions such as risk, employee, workplace in ISO 45001; new definitions such as tracking, measurement, impact, occupational safety, process and performance have been added.

Believing that its most valuable asset is "human", Doğuş Construction will continue to achieve the most advanced standards with its practices and policies in the field of Occupational Health and Safety, developed with the motive of creating a safe and healthy work environment for its employees.
